Greg Hamilton / The person behind GThink

Creative by nature.
Practical by experience.

Good ideas matter. Knowing what to do with them matters more.

I’ve worked across design, advertising, marketing and business. That mix has taught me to look beyond the immediate brief—and to keep an eye on what it will take to deliver the answer.

What becomes possible when the direction is clear?

The perspective

Business doesn’t fit
in one neat box.

Nor does a useful answer. A marketing problem may turn out to be an unclear offer. A brand question may reveal a customer-experience issue. An exciting opportunity may need a practical test before it needs a campaign.

My background brings creative thinking together with commercial experience: brand development, marketing, customer acquisition, strategic partnerships and long-term relationships.

That includes recent work with Lutheran Homes Barossa, regional events and tourism, hospitality, and government and commercial organisations, along with more than 35 years of exhibition, display, and visual-merchandising experience.

I work best with people who value straight conversation, are ready to make decisions and want the thinking to lead somewhere useful.

When did you last look at it another way?

A little less formal

A person.
Not a process.

Serious about the work. Comfortable with a conversation.

You don’t need to arrive speaking fluent marketing. You know your business; I bring another perspective. The useful work happens where those two things meet.

I’m based in Greenock, in South Australia’s Barossa Valley. The studio brings together creative work, ideas and practical projects. Visits are by appointment.

The brief can be rough. The thinking shouldn’t be.

Let’s see what’s possible

What you can expect

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Start with your situation.

No preselected tactic looking for a problem to solve.

Respect the experience in the room.

Work with your people, not around them.

Keep the direction practical.

Connect the thinking to the time, people and resources available.

Be clear about the work.

Agree what is needed, who does what and what happens next.

The next useful conversation

Bring the problem.
Or the possibility.

You don’t need to tidy it up first. Tell me what’s happening, and we’ll work out whether I can help.
